However, between October and December 2024, he was hospitalised at the hospital, he had a series of investigations done, took loads of medications and all… unfortunately we lost him to the cold hands of death, in December of 2024.

Sitting by his bedside in the hospital, I encountered something that stirred a vision in me—something I’ve pondered for years. I saw many elderly people, alone, their loved ones unable to be present because of work, distance, or other life demands. Some of these families were overseas, others navigating their own struggles. It was heart-wrenching and eye-opening.

This experience reignited a passion within me. In about four weeks, with the incredible support of my team; we turned that vision into action. We developed the Elderly Support Initiative, a subscription-based, on-demand in-home care service tailored for the elderly (ages 60 and above).

This initiative leverages our extensive network of trusted care providers to ensure that no elderly person feels abandoned or uncared for.

I am thrilled to announce that we officially launched GreyCare- care for the Elderly/senior citizens on monday, December 9th, 2024, in honour of my Dad -The Reverred Rev. Evangelist J.E. Uche

This is just the start, over the next ten years, we aim to expand this initiative to all 109 senatorial zones in Nigeria.

This is more than a service; it’s a mission to ensure our senior citizens live their later years in dignity, good health, and comfort.
